| Joe Viglione's review of PSYCH-OUT - The Ultimate Head Trip on AllMusic.com Released on the Sidewalk imprint of Tower Records, manufactured by Capitol, this is an excellent '60s album from a Dick Clark/American International Motion Picture, Psych Out. There is only one track from Sky Saxon's Seeds, and their "Two Fingers Pointing on You" sounds exactly like, you guessed it, "Pushin' Too Hard." The band made a career out of reinventing that one tune, and they do not disappoint here, lifted from their Future album on GNP Crescendo | We've asked George Cox, lead singer of THE STORYBOOK, to participate in an exclusive interview for GEMMZINE.com Stay Tuned. E mail from George, Sun, August 23, 2009 3:47 am Just a quick note to let you know that the Storybook did exist and recorded most of the tracks for the movie and soundtrack. We were a band from the San Fernando Valley and I was the lead singer. |
